About Us
Fork is a neighbourhood restaurant in Lewes serving modern British cooking.
Our constantly changing, seasonal menus reflect our support for local farmers and artisan producers. Our meat, vegetables, fruit and cheeses come from small local farms; our fish is fresh off the boat at Newhaven.

Having opened our doors only 18-months ago to the Lewes community, and in the midst of Covid-19 making it a tough time for restaurants - we've been so warmed by all of the support we've gained from friends new and old.
We feel humbled by the review that we received from the legendary food critic, Grace Dent of the Guardian, and this gives us a strong sense of pride and accomplishment for the reputation we've nurtured in such a short time. In Grace's words:
